Introductory essayI notice that you use plain, simple language, short words and brief sentences. That is the way to write English - it is the modern way and the best way. Stick to it; don’t let fluff and flowers and verbosity creep in. When you catch an adjective, kill it. No, I don’t mean utterly, but kill most of them - then the rest will be valuable. They weaken when they are close together. They give strength when they are wide apart. An adjective habit, or a wordy, diffuse, flowery habit, once fastened upon a person, is as hard to get rid of as any other vice. This quote is from Mark Twain. This as been a great year for me, as in learning how to be a good writer. I will have to admit I came far but still have lots to learn. I have been able to write about lots of things that were interesting and things that relate to me.             I have learn lots of different things like what to look for when grading other people’s work, more grammar, and just to be better at writing. It was easy when I have a topic to write about but then I have to think about how to write it in the way Steve want it done like cause and effect and other ones he had us do. I did like some of the writing like talk the talk, which was a good one, that is probably the best one I did I think. It was very information about commutation though our life from infant to adult. The one I did not like was gangs because that was the first one we did, so I wasn’t ready and I messed up on it but I look at it as a learning tool to look for what to expect in the later essays. Plus with the peer-review it was nice because I can get people that are at the same level as I am and we can help each other in developing our writing.            Now with class over I came far but I wouldn’t say can write a master piece. I still have lot to learn as every one have to as English language is always being change with some words being drop and words being add. This as been a rewarding experience for me.
