My blogging responce to the gay stories

I tended to favor the opinion of Charles Colson and Anne Morse, the moment you brake the traditional marriage order you invite chaos. Once you legalize gay marriage you have no ground to stand on when some freak decides he wants to marry a donkey! Some might disagree with the philosophy of traditions but i believe that you need a sense of stability to feel in control and safe in you life and social envirenment. Now that we have congress changing all of the solid points in our constitution and amendments an American who cares enough about the world around them is always trapped in a situation where they feel the walls of societal truths and undertanding crumbling around them. I worry about the world that my children will be raised in. I no longer have the assurance that they will be able to go to school without being punished for a religious belief and background, while they’re forced to observe muslim holidays. If we the people of America stand by while our constitution is being torn in pieces right under our noses we will enevitable have to shake hands with our neighbor and except the wedding invitation for her and her pet dog!

Yeah, see, there’s the thing. Living in a free society means you don’t have to accept her wedding invitation. You’re free to say, “That’s sick! Get the hell off my property!”

Nice title lol. I agree with what you have to say. People aren’t allowed to believe in certain things….it’s like the government is trying to control us.

I see your point, and respect it. But what i feel is that it is time to change this constitution. It is the back bone of our country, but as times change, so must our government. And remember, religion must be seperate of federal and state government.

    Sincerly yours,

    Rene

Speaking of our hallowed yellow document, it promises freedom to all citizens of this great country. This should extend to marriage. The belief that marriage is supposed to be between a man and woman comes from the Bible, so your argument that your children will be forced to rezognize Muslim holidays leaves much to be desired. Also, comparing gay people to donkeys and cats makes you sound like the freak, not them. Marrying a PERSON of the same sex does not compare to marrying a donkey.

first off, you bring this to the extreme, talking about people marrying donkeys and pets. thats is just down right weird. the essays talk about to humans, not donkey and human. how can you even compare gay marriage to bestiality.

Very good observations. I like your background picture also. I wish you could change the picture for each one and then keep it. The reading was interesting also.

Wow, is this serious? Are you comparing a gay couple marrying to a man or woman marrying a donkey? This definitely cannot be a serious post or your actual position on the issue. Such an opinion reflects a person who does not use their brain regularly. First, the Constitution says nothing about marriage, that’s the Bible. There is something called the separation of church and state that prevents the Constitution from banning gay marriage. It can ban civil unions and the sharing of such things as health insurance, but why should gays have the same benefits with the person they are in love with the rest of us have? If you want them to stay out of the church, fine. Let them be married in the courthouse and move on with life. I should think a person in collge would use a little more rational thought on such a touchy issue.

As a conclusion…I would take the bullet for a gay man or women, that doesn’t mean that i want to be exposed to their sex life that they seem to feel is their right to openly portray. We have a set of rules and regulations that we, as Americans, follow. Marriage between a man and a woman is our definition. Marriage is marriage. If you ant to set up some OTHER form of expression of ones love in the likeness of matramony for tax purposes and stuff get creative. Please leave marriage as it is and stop carrying on like fools! ( I’m stonchly against public displays of anyones sex life! not just gays.)

Quite a discussion going on here! I’ll just pipe in that the Slipper Slope fallacy may be at play here…
