I loath blogging

I’m really starting to think that I loath blogging more then any other human on this very earth! When I was a kid you couldn’t force me to blog, or touch the keys on a keyboard, if my life depended on it!! Once, one of my best friends came over and set up an e-mail account in my name, and i still never used it. I hate blogging!!

Well, against my better wishes, Dalager has placed me in my enimate hell in front of a key board. My head is currently swimming with ideas about politics and the latest scientific journal posts, but it would take more then a couple minuets to lay out my sceams concerning that.

old words

I’m not sure the limitations of a blog, but I came across the words to a very old hymn and they touched me. At the moment I’m trying to piece together a kinda new song using these words. I hope you like them!!

Through the night of doubt and sorrow onward goes the pilgrim band

Singing songs of expectation marching to the promise land

Clear before us through the darkness gleams and burns the guiding light

Brother clasp the hand of brother stepping fearless through the night

One the light of Gods own presence o’re His ransomed people shed

Chasing far the gloom and terror brightening all the path we tread

One the object of our journey one the faith which never tires

One the earnest looking forward one the hope our God inspires

One the strain that lips of thousand lift as from the heart of one

One the conflict one the peril one the march in God begun

One the gladness of rejoicing one the far eternal shore

Where the one almightily father reigns in love forever more

Onward therefore pilgrim brothers onward with the cross our aid

Bear its shame and fight its battle ’till we rest beneath its shade

Soon shall come the great awaking soon the rending of the tomb

Then the scattering of all shadows and the end of toil and gloom

Through the night of doubt and sorrow onward goes the pilgrim band

The Ugly Truth about Beauty

I found the ugly truth about beauty very entertaining. I couldn’t help but laugh and giggle at Dave Barry’s interesting comparisons between the cave men and us much more sophisticated women. Sad yet true, many of his observations were correct, but i do think that the big wings on the Buzz Off action figure make his hips look smaller in comparison but it does make his butt look roburst. May be should write something on the irony of watching sports on t.v., that make absolutly no sense at all!

My thoughs on stem cell research.

I suppose this is kinda out there consitering blogs, but I’ve never done this before.

My little sister has been pleaged with the worst possible luck concering her health, she has a dormint case of lukinia and a severe case of down syndrom. One day while i was listening to the radio, they announce that there has been great progress in the workings of umbilical cord stem cells. They recently tested a child with serible palsy and the results were amazing. The child’s vocabulary and ability to communicate with others increased significantly, and more important, the childs ability to logically think out every day problems had increases by great numbers.

Upon hearing this i went into a study of my own. They are currently working with the new stem cells in hopes to help children with down syndrom. They are very optimistic! With this new tecnology my little esister might have the oppertunity to have a better life.

I’ll probably write alot more on this subject later. Think of this as an introduction. :)
