		<description>Katrina Sauter "A"
1.) When you first look at the image you've choosen, what does it remind you of, and what do you see?

I see a dancer. I see a man dancing and moving to music.

2.) Ask yourself what emotions does it stir in me? Explain the emotions.

I feel happiness and joy. But, most of all I feel freedom and expression. I feel free when I look at the picture.

3.) Now take some time to look at the image and begin to form a possible story that the image is saying to you. You can be imaginative by starting with “ONCE UPON A TIME,” or “I REMEMBER ONCE WHEN.” or with any way you’re accustomed to beginning a story that you would share with friends and relatives. You can also tell the story in a journalistic format by turning it into a news report.

Expression. A person is always expressing themselves. Even if they don’t want to express themselves they do. I like to express myself. I like being myself. I don’t go out of my way to follow the crowd. I express my opinion and how I feel. If people don’t like me I don’t care. If you do like me, that’s good.

4.) Give your story a title.

<description>Lydia, you did a unique thing by working out of the margin or borders of the photograph, and creating an illusion of three dimension. Nice job!

		<description>Amy,
I like how "motion," dominates this collage, even when you break it up with the rectangles. It works well!.

		<description>Krista,
this is a very symmetrical composition, and you give the impression that someone is holding this boxed portrait in their hands. Nice job!

<description>Katrina, given the time you had to pull this together, I like the results. Especially the enlarged hand, which really grabs you and pulls you in and then through the composition.

<description>I like how you created the horizontal line through this composition to give it a focus amongst the chaotic swirls. It also reminds me of gift wrapped present with a ribbon being the horizontal bold line and the bow the center image. You did exactally what a collage is suppose to do, which is taking from another image you create a new image.
Nice job!
