I’m going to guess that this is rhubarb? Well whatever it is, it is truly organic, and almost organic like an organism. This is the most textured shot I’ve seen this semester, and it’s an amazing image. The wonderful abstract shape relationship in the background is a unique backdrop, and frame. The warmth and smoothness of the stem and the contrasting texture of the leaves are so crisp that you can almost hear them crackling and scratching against each other. The composition grabs me by my stomach because of its dramatic stance, and it keeps me engaged out of curiosity and intrigue. THIS IS YOUR BEST SHOT!
