It also stirs emotions of pride that I have for my native culuture.

Well to understand my answer to question 2, you’ll need to know my answer to question 1. I said that i believed the man in this photo is showing that he is annoyed and that i could relate to that emotion as i currently at this moment am feeling annoyed myself. So while i don’t think this picture in its self “triggered” any emotions in me, the man’s expression reads as if my own. - Natalie H.

Justin Brown - I see this image it is intense energy of two people battling in dance. Working together and against each other at the same time to create excitement for everyone to see and enjoy.

Letter G –Jeremiah Davis– When I see this picture I see people celebrating en event or person. This even that took place seems to be victorious. I see joy excitement, joy, also curosity. These people are telling a story. I chose the emotions that I did because there will be people who know this story and also people who do not know. Maybe the story telling is in a form of a dance or someone is telling the while the other two people perform.

I get nostalgic. It reminds me of summers gone by. Specifically, of a weekly cultrual festival I was at in Merida, Mexico several years ago. This conjures up the memories assocated with the sensation of breathing the wram summer air; the crowd of people engulfing you; the play between light, fire, and night; and the vibrancy and graceful motion of the spectacle at hand.

G: Frustration, because you’re stuck and want to get out and get away, and because you don’t know what it is that is trapping you or how it is, or how it did in the first place.

When I look at this picture, I feel happiness because it is bright, full of movement and looks up-beat, I feel nostalgia because it reminds me of being a child playing with fireworks on the Forth of July and I also feel freedom, freedom of being young without a care in the world.

The picture almost looks sad. I feel coldness with having it be winter outside. If you look at the picture for a long time they look as if they are in deep thought or looking at something.

1.) When you first look at the image you’ve choosen, what does it remind you of, and what do you see?
I see a dancer. I see a man dancing and moving to music.
2.) Ask yourself what emotions does it stir in me? Explain the emotions.
I feel happiness and joy. But, most of all I feel freedom and expression. I feel free when I look at the picture.
3.) Now take some time to look at the image and begin to form a possible story that the image is saying to you. You can be imaginative by starting with “ONCE UPON A TIME,” or “I REMEMBER ONCE WHEN.” or with any way you’re accustomed to beginning a story that you would share with friends and relatives. You can also tell the story in a journalistic format by turning it into a news report.
Expression. A person is always expressing themselves. Even if they don’t want to express themselves they do. I like to express myself. I like being myself. I don’t go out of my way to follow the crowd. I express my opinion and how I feel. If people don’t like me I don’t care. If you do like me, that’s good.
4.) Give your story a title.
