The first annual Lake Superior College “Thrill on the Hill” Scholarship Fund Run designed to help enhance the college’s regional wellness presence by attracting runners and walkers from surrounding areas who love to run or walk in Duluth. At the same time this event will help create a campus community focused on running and walking in preparation for the first annual Thrill on the Hill. The run/walk is a healthy, challenging way to make a positive impact on making college tuition more affordable. Lake Superior College will host the 10K run/walk on May 5, 2007. The race course will incorporate parts of the LSC campus, Trinity and Hutchinson Roads and the Piedmont Ski Trails. The scenic and challenging course will offer a unique format in that the course will take place on half pavement and half trails. All race profits will benefit the Lake Superior College Foundation’s general scholarship fund.

The first 25 students to register through student life receive a free entry!!! Student Life has also offered $500 to any official LSC club that has the highest percentage of participation!!
