My Partner
Posted on October 29th, 2007 at 5:47 pm by chswenso

My partner is someone very close to me.  Her name is Tracy Swenson.  She would be my mom.  I would do a grandparent, but as I explained in the last blog entry I don’t have any left. My mom has three kids and a husband.  She has two boys and a girl.  Brock is 23, Riley is 19, and I am 17.

My topic is communication.  I am going to explore how communication has changed over the years.

*What did people back in your day use instead of cell phones?

*Did you have e-mail?

*Did you even have computers?

*How did you do research projects?

*How often did you use the telephone?

*Did most everyone have telephones back then?

I think it will be quite interesting to see how the times have changed since like the 1960’s.

Chelsea - I think this will be a great time for you and your mother to bond. Don’t look at it as an assignment, look at it as a great way to get to know her better. I bet your questions will lead to other questions and you will only benefit from this. Good luck to both of you.

I love your questions and communication is a great topic because the whole paradigm for how we communicate has changed so drastically in the last decade. I’ll look forward to hearing more.

It will be interesting. I remember the 60’s like it was yesterday.
:0) It was a great time. I will look forward to reading how your mom liked them.
