I really have no idea what I’m going to write about. Possibly viruses, dead or alive? I really don’t know. I’m also considering writing about euthanasia (assisted suicide). Is it right to let someone be euthanized if they don’t want to be alive anymore or is it wrong? Do we all have that right to choose for ourselves whether or not we are perfectly healthy or deathly ill?
3 Questions…
1- Where would I find the best information on such a subject?
2- How is euthanasia done, lethal injection?
3- Why is there such a controversy on this subject? We run our own lives right?
It’s in my opinion that the Rogerian Rhetoric style of writing is solid. No, it may not be exactly what Rogers himself would have expected the style to be like, but it works. The thing is that this is supposed to be a research paper according to the syllabus, but the Rogerian style is more suited to persuasion and argumentative papers. So, is this really a research paper or just a longer, more subtle approach to persuasion/argumentative writing styles? I understand that we have to do research for this, but it’s a bit misleading to say it’s a research paper… I don’t have any questions about this paper, but the previous one is a different story.
The profile paper was just plain confusing to me. I wrote about my subjects early life and some events along the way that helped him become who he is today and got him into a job that he loved. I thought that was more or less the gist of what we were supposed to do. ???
I’d like to meet Timothy Leary. He led an interesting life, being the foremost promoter of LSD in medicine and recreational uses. I would love to learn what his ideas were and how LSD affected him. His experiences with it alone, would be enough to write many papers and books. I’d definately just want to learn from him.
My 3 big questions would be:
1. How did your first time using LSD affect the person you became?
2. How did it affect your outlook on the world and its ongoing evolution?
3. What would you do different (if you were still alive) to help promote the use and research of LSD in the USA?
