LOGICAL/ILLOGICAL FALLACIES
I chose illogical because I’m already overloaded with the logic that the Professors have been pounding on us, all at once, this past week. I find it illogical to start a class and for the teacher to take two weeks to get going and then towards the end of the semester, pile everything on us. And no I’m not talking about Dalager, as you know. He started out on the first day, which I think is good. Although it has been a bit hecktic lately in English Composition also! The Curious George books are going well, it’s just that I’m running out of new titles to read! Does any body have ‘Curious George and The Man In The Yellow Hat?’ If you do could I borrow it? Now if that’s not illogical or just plain Bull Shit I don’t know! Is that a swear word or just an item you preferably do not want to step in?
Gay Marriages
I think Gay marriages are fine as frogs hairs, I say let them be. If you do have a problem, try to look at it this way. If they continue as they are, without cloning themselves, they can only procreate the inheritance of their gayness from one of the two partners at a time. Soon the inherited gene, as they call it, will diminish and there will be no true gay or lesbians. Truly I’m not against anyone who wishes to practice this; I just stay on my side of the fence for my own personal preference reasons. I feel as though the issue runs deeper than just the genes. I feel as though it is inherited, but more the fact that it is a hormonal imbalance. If you give an ordinary man estrogen, he will grow breasts and his voice will become higher in pitch. If you give an ordinary woman testosterone, she will grow facial hairs and be more sexually promiscuous. You yourself do not choose to be straight or gay, it is your natural desire from the get go. Gay marriages are not hurting the children in the family, they are actually benefitting from having two parents instead of one. They do not turn gay because they are raised in that atmosphere. We debated this in Philosophy and found out there was no damaging issue that could be presented, other than the personal discriminatory reason the person may have had in the first place.
M&M’s after TUTOR
Carrie Anderson03/10/07 Revised after TUTOR04/08/07 Blog M&M’s MR. DALAGER AND M&M’s! Do you have a teacher as fun and tasteful as your favorite candy? It’s nice to have a teacher that students of all ages can relate to, to want to have on a somewhat regular base, without getting too much of. Like eating M&M’s, compared to wanting to attend class, because you really enjoy the teacher and you want to consume what he has to say. He’s someone who can actually get the majority of his class to attend on a regular basis because he has good taste in the way he teaches. There’s no one I’ve ever met that doesn’t like the taste of a good thing, especially M&M’s. He’s like a party size bag of M&M‘s that can make it around the room once and still have enough in there to make it around again. Maybe it has to do with how invigorating and fresh of a teacher he is, like the crispy M&M’s. You bite down on that and tell me you don’t want more! He can also snap right back with an answer to your question, and without a meltdown for words. Don’t you just love how hard he looks on the outside, but sweet and laid back; as he can be on the inside? He’s like the hard candy shell on the outside of M&M’s and the soft creamy peanut butter on the inside. Then, I thought; it could possibly be that everyone loves him as a teacher by the nutty way he can be when he’s up in front of the class speaking. Or the way that things the class talks about can turn into something that is absolutely nuts in no time flat. I think I speak for everyone that may know him when I say this. Could he possibly be referred to as peanut M&M’s? When I first met him, I thought, “Is this one of those teachers that come out of their wrapper when you least expect it?” I’ve never seen him mad, have you? Or it could also be that his class is just all around, plain and simply fun! And that he definitely gets the job done! Now let’s see if you can compare Steve to anything better than M&M’s.
M&M’s
M&M’s are my favorite candy. I liked your writting on M&M’s. You can compaare both different people or just one person, as to the different types of M&M’s. I wish I could do more with this blog stuff. I guess it will come in time.
Brent Staples blog
It’s interesting how people stereo type other people just by their color. My theory is that in about 200 more years nationality and or race, is not going to be an issue what so ever. I feel as though most everyone on the planet will be tan. Hardly anyone will know their nationality. And if they did know, it would probably be a conglomeration of variety of backgrounds. A “Hinds 57″, so to speak! I wish that I was in that era, my parents are extremely predjudist and I am not.
Struggling
I find this writting to be rather true. What I mean by this is I believe pretty much the way she does about the way women are perceived in the eyes of men. I do not like it one bit either. There seems to be a lot written about the way things really are in this English Composition book. I really enjoy the fact that there is true and real life stories potrayed in this book. I’m into realistic writtings over, fiction.
WINTER BREAK 2007
WINTER BREAK 2007
I thought it was suppose to be SPRING BREAK 2007! I really enjoyed the SNOW! Then the summer like weather at the end of the week. It was rather grand! I actually wish we had more snow. Bet that scares you! Well I really don’t know where this blog will end up, due to the fact that I cannot sign on to my blog site, once again. Everyone that I talked to, including Bunky and Nettie, liked the snow. Even though they had to work a lot harder than normal just digging their way out of their houses and driveways. I decided to run this all together instead of using paragraphs because most of the time when I transfer it over and upload it, it ends up all run together anyways. During the break I tried to decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. Then I realized I’ve already made the decision a long time ago that I was not going to grow up!
Blog The ugly Truth
I feel as though women are more fine tuned than men. They pay more attention to detail. Just as men are more large motor oriented and women are more fine motor oriented. This may have to do with gender and hormones, or maybe the way we raise a girl delicately as to a boy more rough. The toys a girl plays with may take more fine motor skills, where as the toys that boys play with take the gross motor skills.
