Introduction essay

In this class I have developed as a writer in a few ways.  I have learned to write clearer thesis statements, revise peer papers more efficiently, and write a variety of papers.  I have also leaned how to revise my own paper better.

With the exercise on thesis statements and having to revise them I have learned how to make them a lot clearer. Now I can write a better introductions overall.

I have learned the process of revising peer papers over the course of the semester.  I now know the correct way to go over some ones paper and actually help them out.

Writing papers in a variety of different ways has helped me become a better writer as well. I now know how to write papers on classifying, cause and effect,  comparing and contrasting, and a few others.

I had difficulties at first with the blogging and revising.  I just never want to tell people that there is something wrong with there paper because they probably worked real hard on it. By the end though, I started trying to help people if I saw something that might need to be changed.  The blogging thing just confused me at first but I think I finally got it down now.

I chose my topics based on what I thought I can make a good paper out of. I always just kind of thought of a few then picked the one I thought would make the most sense.  My favorite piece was the one on classifying drinkers because I thought it was fun and believe that there are many types of drinkers out there.  Least favorite was probably the last one because I had troubles picking a movie.

I have developed as a writer during this class for sure.  I now know the importance of a solid thesis statement and how to write one.  I can know revise others and my own papers a lot better.  I can write a variety of papers on a variety of topics now that this class is wrapping up.  This class has defiantly developed my writing abilities.
