Rogerian Model
by bobbyrileyI think I understand the Rogerian Model pretty well. I do have a few questions about it. It says the goal of the Rogerian Model is to find an “agreed upon truth.” Does that mean at the end of our papers we HAVE TO find an “agreed upon truth?” It seems to me that some issues could have a right and wrong answer, whether or not the opposition agrees with it. Also, some issues might not have a solution that falls in the middle, right? Aren’t there some issues that just don’t have any room for gray area? Also, it says that you present the opposition view first. Is that rule set in stone? Could you include the opposition view second?
