I don’t really have a topic picked out yet, but I was kind of thinking about doing something on raising the minimum wage. That seems like something people get pretty worked up over, though it might be too big of a topic for this, right? Some reasearch questions that would have to be answered could be: who would be most affected by the change? what would be the overall economic impact? how many people would lose thier jobs? I was also thinking about doing it on student loans and banruptcy.

I think I understand the Rogerian Model pretty well. I do have a few questions about it. It says the goal of the Rogerian Model is to find an “agreed upon truth.” Does that mean at the end of our papers we HAVE TO find an “agreed upon truth?” It seems to me that some issues could have a right and wrong answer, whether or not the opposition agrees with it. Also, some issues might not have a solution that falls in the middle, right? Aren’t there some issues that just don’t have any room for gray area? Also, it says that you present the opposition view first. Is that rule set in stone? Could you include the opposition view second?

is DIPPIN DOTS still the “ice cream of the future ?” It seems like it has been the “ice cream of the future” for like thirty years. I think the new “ice cream of the future” should be Minute Maid Frozen Limeade Tubes. They’re Delicious.
