Interview with JFK

Filed under: Uncategorized — by robertfoulkes at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 29, 2007

If I could interview anyone in the world who is no longer living I would choose John F. Kennedy.  I would want to interview JFK because I have been taking a Vietnam class this semester, which has really grown my interest in that era and how he might have handled it if he was still alive.  It’s weird because I never had any interest in how he ran his presidency but after this class it really drew my attention.  I would have to ask him what he would have done in vietnam, like did he have a plan to get us out of it.  Three questions I would ask JFK are 1) Why were we in vietnam? 2) Was there a plan to get out of Vietnam? 3) Would you have instituted the draft?

Yeah, what a great person to interview. I like that you focused in on the Vietnam aspect of his experience in particular; we might actually be able to learn some lessons from him. Good post.
