Comp II, blog 5

I was thinking about writing about the reasons behind why the DNR would want to destroy a persons property.  I think it would help me to investigate what happened to my fiance’s grand-fathers cabin.  If I could find various reasons for and against I’d be able to come up with the best conclusion on if it was the DNR or not who had committed the crime.  Some things I’d probably ask are as follows:  What’s the land here worth?  Do they record what they do and where they’ve been while on duty?  Who else did it happen to?  I may interview they people affected by the crimes and see how they feel and if they have any ideas on who it was and why.

However, I’m not sure if I’m going to do it on that topic.  It may be a little far fetched for writing a paper using Rogerian rhetoric guidelines.  I am still looking this week to find other things that intrigue me that I may want to write a paper on.  Another topic that sparks my interest is no alcoholic beverage sales in MN on Sundays.  I don’t understand why not on Sundays.  I may do my paper on this instead and some research questions I’d ask are what’s the reasoning behind the law, what other states allow it, what states don’t allow it, how long has it been like this, why’s it ok to drink and buy liquoir during a typical work week but not on Sunday, and is religion and government not being seperated.
