This piece of writing is from my writing two class. Our assignment was to write a paragraph on our ideal career/job. We were to include why we think we are right for the job and what are qualifications are. I chose this because I feel this is a great piece of writing and I was pleased with the outcome. I spent a lot of time on it, so i felt it was worth sharing.  

As a fashion photographer, I would take photos devoted to clothing, accessories, make-up and different hairstyles. Most importantly, being in the field of photography I’m able to develop my own individual style. I’ve shown many artistic abilities since my early childhood. For instance, I have the ability to take beautiful photos and show how versatile I am with my work. My interest in fashion is another great way to express myself through this career. I would help models with their outfits and give tips on clothes, accessories, and hairstyles. As a result, I would be able to demonstrate my unique and creative sense of style in the fashion world. Traveling is another thing I would love to experience in this career. Since I love traveling, I think that this will be a great opportunity to be able to explore the country. I have already had the wonderful opportunity to travel to New York; consequently, that turned out to be the most amazing experience of my life. I hope in the future I will have the chance to have my photos appear in top magazines; for instance, Vogue and Vanity Fair. I love looking at the photos and the fashion in these magazine spreads, so I feel that this would be a great accomplishment for me. Lastly, I’m a very passionate person and I feel that I would be able to show my passion through my photos. In the end, I feel that being a fashion photographer would be a wonderful choice as my ideal career and would be very beneficial.
