My speech was on the quote from chapter 10. The quote is “I think the one lesson I have learned is that there is no substitute for paying attention. The author is a journalist, Diane Sawyer. I think that this quote means that there is no better learning tool than paying attention to others. It is the best way to engage in learning and retaining information. With paying attention you are able to catch onto details. You are also able to know what is going on throughout your course or whatever you want to pursue. I think that this is a very accurate quote to stand by. I believe that paying attention is the best learning tool and would be the most beneficial. I know from experience that paying attention is the key to good success.
