Bandits 

When I was in high school, I was having a really hard time trying to graduate. I used to like to party  a lot, and I just seemed to be falling way behind in school. I never really had any plans for college, except that I wanted to go. I just didn’t know what to go for though. So I figured, first off I have to graduate. For me to graduate, I needed to sit down and get my act together, which is exactly what I did. That’s why I piked the movie Bandits. I think Bandits is a good movie for college students to watch, because it shows us motivation to succeed in life.

A lot of college students like to party, but to get somewhere in life you really need to grow up and work at it. If there is something you really want, then you’ll do what it takes to get it. In the movie Bandits, starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Cate Blanchett, the men want something really bad and they do everything they can to get it. Cate Blanchett just kind of invited herself along for all the fun.

It starts off as two best friends getting in lots of trouble, which reminds me of high school. Any ways they  set their minds to something each of them really wants, and later on they meet the women of both of their dreams, Cate Blachett. She decides to tag along with them. Soon she becomes part of the team.

As I watch this movie I don’t think about what they have planned, but what I have planned for the future. I just see that they tried really hard to get what they want and they achieved it. When I think about my future I know I will try just as hard, but in a different way of course ( you’ll know what I mean if you ever saw the movie). The bottom line is that if there is something that you want bad enough, then do whatever you can to achieve it. Just don’t do what they did in the movie.

Critics might say this is not a good movie for college students to see, because it’s about a bank robbery. That is not a good role model, but I say this is a good movie for college students to see because these partners in crime were creative and they robbed the bank with the motivation and will power of wanting paradise. They wanted it bad enough and they succeded. So have the will power and the motivation and go for your dreams.

I have not dome anything bad since I’ve been in high school. I had to try really hard to graduate and I cried when I got my diploma, because I was so thankful. I wanted it that bad and it felt so good when I succeded. Now I’m doing the same thing in college. I’m working really hard to get into the school I want. I’ll have to pay double of what I was paying here at LSC, but I really have my heart set on this school so I know I can do it.
