Introductory essay
I hate to say it, but I think I learned more about working a computer than almost anything else. Uploading, downloading, blogging,(I hope I spelt that right). My head was spinning with all that I had to try to put into my head, then get it into the computer, and then have said computer keep all my hard work in some place that doesn’t even really exist. Oh my!!! What happens if the computer looses what I try to upload. What if, what if, what if?
Will I ever like this computer, the majic machine that’s supposed to make it easier for me? How can amybody really think that computers save time? Are they crazy? I have been fighting this for about sixteen (16) weeks now, and as I write this I wonder and anticipate the time I have to try to get this into the blog!
Some of this I have to take responsibility for. This semester I over-extended myself, by a whole lot. My husband and I never got our finances in a place that I could just go to school, and not worry about getting that pay check. Infact I’ve had to work more hours than I wanted to.
I’ve learned to take less credits, so I can give my best to the classes I will be taking. I also learned that I want to learn more about writing essays. I never thought I’d be saying that! I’ve enjoyed my stories. Some have seemed to come easier thatn when I started writing. I need some good grammar habits and I learn a little more about that every time I take an English Comp. class. I learned to think twice before changing a essay topic, and if I still want to change topics to think thru wwhat it takes to make that essay a good one, not just a essay.
As I said before, I think I learned most about the computer, and that’s okay to because that is the wave of the future. I need to be able to adapt because I will be working in the business world. Things change fast in that world, business programs, clients, owners, need I go on?
I hope you have enjoyed my stories, and thank you for all your support.
